PIG RACES!!!!

If you find yourself in Red Lodge after driving the Beartooth Highway, looking for a steak and want some fun, on your way back toward Wapiti Cabins why not watch some local racing!  No, not cars, not horses, not dogs but PIGS!!!

This is a blast!  They have great food and then the racing begins!!!  Proceeds benefit scholarship programs.

From Bear Creek Montana, head toward Belfry Montana and then back toward Cody.  This is a shortcut back to the cabins so you don't have to drive back across the mountain, you can go around.

You will need reservations so plan ahead!

Scenic Drives

Highway 14/16/20 from Cody to Yellowstone

You will probably see as many of our native wildlife on the drive to Yellowstone as you will see in the park.  The best time to see moose, bears, deer, elk, wolves and other native species is early in the morning and later in the evening before dark.  If you are heading to Yellowstone, leave early and drive slowly.  You will be surprised how many species of wildlife you will see on this truly spectacular drive to the park!
